Personal Bio

Jolie Buchanan is a freelance photographer from Columbus, Indiana currently pursuing her master's in art therapy.

What inspired you to contribute your photos to Photos for Health? 
I have spent multiple holiday seasons in these hospital with my brother, Michael, starting at Riley Hospital where he had his first open heart surgery as a child when I was 10 years old. It was also about that time that I began to pursue my interest and passion for photography and haven't stopped since. Thirdly, I am currently in pursuit of my master's in art therapy.  That's three votes for inspiration, I simply had to participate.
