The art collection for the new Simon Family Tower is multi-faceted in media, installations, programs and collections. The Art Program’s overall goal is to bring joy, empowerment, reassurance, comfort, and natural beauty to the patients, their families, and caregivers at Riley for an optimal healing environment.

The Photos for Health collection is themed “Animals and Ecosystems” and will present a reassuring yet realistic portrayal of the diversity and strength in the animal kingdom paired with the ever-present natural environments that we share and call home on our planet. This uplifting original collection strikes a balance of being youthful, and respectful.

A collaborative partnership with the Indianapolis Zoo will provide encouraging, educational wonderment for the zoo residents locally and far around the globe where the conservation efforts of the zoo reach. Through images in the collection as well as soothing and awe-inspiring video utilized in the Signature Media Applications planned for the building, this partnership enables Riley kids to be surrounded by friendly faces, gorgeous imagery, and access to one-of-a-kind experiences.

Through newly designed infrastructure, content sharing and social networking, the art collection has the power to involve and connect Riley with donors, Riley kids around the world, Kids Caring for Kids, and the Riley Mother and Baby Hospital in Kenya.
